What We Do
The purpose of the Ross County Senior Center is to provide high quality community based care and services for the senior citizens of Ross County. We have been serving the area for over 40 years.
The services provided by our agency and our highly qualified staff help to enable some of our clients to remain in their own homes for a longer period of time. The independence of a senior citizen is not given up easily. Hopefully, the services which we offer help make their lives a little easier.
We offer a variety of services including meals, transportation, and personal care.
Activities
Available Weekly Activities Include:
Group Meals - Daily
Bingo - Every Wednesday and Friday
Euchre - Every Thursday
Art Class - Every Tuesday
Grief Support - Every Tuesday
Alzheimer Support - 3rd Tuesday
Health Screenings - 4th Thursday
We have several weekly activities including bingo, euchre, art class, grief support, alzheimer support, health screenings, and group meals. Come out for a visit and see what you think. At the Ross County Senior Center, you are part of a family and we can’t wait to see you!
Get Involved
We are always looking for volunteers to work at the Western Avenue site in Chillicothe. From cleaning duties, to serving meals, there is a place for you to help serve the senior citizens of Ross County.
