Home Delivered Meals
A hot nutritious meal is delivered Monday through Friday at noon. This helps with nutritional needs when seniors are not eating properly and are home bound most of the time. This service also ensures that each client is checked on at least once each day. Please contact Devan or Carol for more information regarding home delivered meals. Clients must be at least 60 years of age and live in Ross County.
Medical transportation
Medical/escort transportation is available to anyone 60 years of age or older living in Ross County. This is a one on one, door to door service for medical and hospital appointments, testing, grocery shopping, legal and other necessary appointments for seniors. To schedule transportation call 740-773-3544 and ask for Melissa Detty. Please call as soon as you set your appointments. The more notice we have, the better.
Personal care/homemaking
Clients must be 60 years of age or older and live in Ross County. Personal care/homemaking can assist with but is not limited to bathing, showering, bed baths, light house cleaning, laundry, blood pressure checks, food preparation and cooking, and other household tasks as needed. We are an active provider for the passport program.
general transportation
This service consists of regular bus routes in Chillicothe and the surrounding areas. We provide daily transportation to the Chillicothe meal site for the noon time meal and returning trips home when finished. We also take small one day trips to places like Amish stores, shopping malls, dinner theaters, and casinos throughout the year.
Congregate meals
Congregate meals are hot nutritious meals served at our congregate meal sites located in Chillicothe and Londonderry. This service offers an opportunity for seniors to socialize, visit, coffee and a meal together in a nice social atmosphere and hopefully join in on some of the agency activities.
